About JCI Poznań
A local organisation in a global network
A community where you learn by leading real work
JCI Poznań is the local Junior Chamber International organisation for people aged 18–40. We connect entrepreneurs, professionals, students and active citizens who want to develop themselves and their surroundings.
Where we come from
More than one hundred years of learning through service and action
The JCI movement began in Saint Louis in 1915 and has been active in Poland since 1989. Today, the global network connects local organisations in more than one hundred countries, giving members opportunities to collaborate across borders, attend academies and conferences, and build joint projects.
JCI Poznań translates that global idea into local practice through open business meetings, closed development groups, training, community projects and initiatives led by members themselves.

Four areas of opportunity
One movement, many paths to growth
Individual development
Public speaking, training, facilitation, feedback and leadership practised in a safe but real environment.
Business and entrepreneurship
Meetings with practitioners, knowledge exchange, skill development and relationships that can grow into joint initiatives.
Community impact
Projects responding to local needs and teaching how to turn a good intention into a well-run action.
International cooperation
Conferences, academies, programmes and relationships with young leaders working across cultures and industries.
What Teaching to Lead means
First you receive an opportunity. Then you take responsibility.
Try
Step into a role you may not yet have had an opportunity to perform at work.
Learn
Receive support, feedback and the opportunity to improve in your next action.
Pass it on
Rotating roles ensure that experience does not remain with one person.
